20 years of Economic and Social contribution

by Disneyland Paris

How many jobs does Disneyland® Paris’s activity generate each year? How much do Disneyland Paris guests spend in France? All of these elements can be measured today and are proof of the importance of the economic and social contribution the company has made over these last twenty years.

Europe’s favourite tourist destination is also a company that contributes €50 billion in added value to the French economy. Each year the company’s activity generates the equivalent of 55,000 jobs – as many as the city of Boulogne-Billancourt! Disneyland Paris has become the largest single-site employer in the Ile-de-France region and the number one private employer in Seine-et-Marne.

Did you know that Disneyland Paris receives as many visits as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum together? In twenty years, that represents more than one quarter of a billion visits! Half of those visitors are foreign and they spent more than €37 billion in France during their visit to Disneyland Paris.

In spite of the economic problems, the development model followed by Disneyland Paris intrinsically generates added value and jobs for the French economy.
